Hosne Ara (17), second daughter of her 73 years old rickshaw puller father. Her brother (23) is living his father-in-law's house with his wife and don't have any connection with his parents. Her younger sister (8) does domestic work in other house, mother Sufia (42) does also domestic work and spend whole day to other house.
Hosne ara- a domestic child worker has been working in a house more than three years. She started her work with the conditions of food, accommodation, clothes and wages 200 taka per month. But the house owner doesn't obey these conditions. Hosne ara has been enrolled in SSS domestic education center and passed grade III, along with cooking training, health and cleanliness and many skills. She asked the house owner to increase her wages as she feel that she is doing many works and competent enough to do more. She wants to help her parents and sister. 200 taka is not enough for their survival. Finally she informed her teacher that she is going to resign from her existing house and that she wants a job from where she can help her parent, as her father is 73 and no energetic enough to pull the rickshaw. Domestic education center teacher talked with the house owner to increase her wages but they denied. Finally Hosne Ara appealed to SSS to provide her a job. Considering the need and reality SSS has taken decision to recruit her as an employee of SSS hospital. Hosne ara is very grateful to SSS as she is getting opportunity to help her parents through the job. |
